A Darren Hanlon Adventure -Yungaburra and back again

During December  I headed to Cairns to join the brilliant Darren Hanlon tour gang.  I arrived to a tree of mango's and a poolside cocktail. I was thrilled to be invited on another Hanlon adventure.

I meet Darren in 2006 on a shoot for his music video Happiness is a chemical.

Joining Darren on this Australian tour was the magnificent Shelley Short and  Dave Dondero both all the way from the USA.  On drums was the ingenious Steph Hughes (BOOMGATES, Dick Diver

I don't write diary entries but I do take a lot of photographs. Hopefully this will tell you our tale of wonder, inspiration and adventure all in the sunny state of Queensland.

Red Stitch Theatre 2012 Season Photography

A brilliantly fun project collaborating with RED STITCH - Actors Theatre shooting 5 images for their Summer Season 2012. We spent a day at the beautiful Sun Studios -  We threw fish, bribed children and broke a few glasses... but mostly we had an adventure.

I now encourage you to go on a date-night to the theatre!

‘HISTORY LIVES IN BALLARAT" Campaign emphasises Ballarat’s strength as a regional Victorian tourism destination and offers a new perspective on the range of history and heritage experiences available to Ballarat’s visitors. The campaign centres on a print campaign depicting some of the history-making moments that have been cleverly combined with modern-day Ballarat

I was so excited to win this tender as the brief was creative, challenging and was a perfect opportunity to work with some of Melbourne's finest creatives.

DEAR TASMANIA

Like most people I have neglected our southern state, Tasmania until a certain millionaire, the now legendary David Walsh spent a mere $175 million on creating his “subversive Disneyland".
Welsh has built an "experience" from the moment you board the MONA boat cruise your senses are greeted with the beautiful Hobart harbor and a warm coffee in your hand. Your journey begins there.

TASMANIA WE LOVE YOU
